Information about the "Cotton spinning factory named after the Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi" in the Halach etrap
Based on the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan dated March 25, 2002 No. 5588 “On the construction of a cotton spinning factory in the Halach etrap of Lebap velayat,” the Ministry of Textile Industry was instructed to complete the construction of the factory and create a joint venture with Norsel International Limited of the British Virgin Islands.
The plant came online at 45% capacity in September 2002 and officially opened at full capacity in May 2005.

Cotton yarn Nm 14/1, Nm 17/1, Nm 20/1, Nm 27/1, Nm 34/1 is produced.
The design capacity of the plant is 9130 tons per year. At the request of customers, an average of 14.0 tons of cotton yarn is produced per day.
In just 9 months of 2023, 3567.7 tons of cotton yarn were produced, worth 48 million 353 thousand manats.
The plant employs more than 200 people.
The plant uses equipment from Truchler (Germany) and Reiter (Switzerland).
The plant has 4 workshops. Blowing, carding, banding, bending machines.
